Novak Djokovic’s

Novak Djokovic is truly one of the greatest players in the history of tennis. The latest proof of this statement? Well, at the US Open 2023, the handsome tennis star was a sight to behold as he defeated Spain’s Bernabe Zapata Miralles in straight sets on Wednesday, 30th August, and smoothly advanced to the third round. The fans were delighted to see the skilled 36-year-old securing his spot with a dominant 6-4, 6-1, 6-1 victory. Even with the challenging hot and humid conditions at the Arthur Ashe Stadium, Djokovic played a great game against the Spanish player, though self-admitting later after the win that his performance could have been better, especially during the first set.

Aiming for an unprecedented 24th Grand Slam singles title at this tournament, the Serbian tennis icon will next be playing with Laslo Djere.

And, it’s not just his playing skills or killer looks that are jaw-dropping but his fashion sense is equally commendable. The fun, mature tennis player has a unique sense of style and fashion which is evident both on the court as well as off the court.

The on-court fashion of Nole

If you are a die-hard fan, you would have noticed that the tennis fashion of the man with a cute smile has evolved over the years.

A skinny teenager Novak, back in 2004, was often seen playing in loose, baggy tees and shorts.

At the US Open 2005, the guy gave the polo shirt a try.

Be it in looks or the addition of accessories, things looked different in 2006 at the Australian Open, and it was the very year when Novak bid farewell to the baggy tee style and welcomed a snug-fit look.

The guy looked his best when he put on a blue, red, and white striped French soccer jersey after winning the title in Metz.

2007 was the year when Djokovic showed some muscles in almost form-fitting tennis tees and shorts.

The on-court fashion reached the next level in the year 2008, beginning in Melbourne at the Australian Open, when a snug-fit tennis outfit combined with accessories and a perfect muscular shape came into view. In blue and black, Djokovic won the first Australian Open title.

The monochrome flavor continued through the French Open.

During the year 2009, Novak was mostly sported in primary colors and everyone will agree that they looked great on him, especially the ones from Serbia’s flag.

Nole could be seen in polo shirts with the dominant colors being deep blue, white-to-gray, red, yellow, and white, in the year 2010.

In 2011, Djokovic was seen in mix-and-match colors.

2012 was the year when some busy designs were sported in the tennis attire of Nole.

Ever since 2013, a striking change has been noticed and it continues to date.

Djokovic’s style off-court

When not playing, one can often see the guy in casual tees, formal shirts, and classy suits, rocking each look with ease and confidence.

Do you consider him your tennis idol? Want to look as good as him? Remember these two simple points:

1. Never mix up things or overdo them. When it comes to dressing up, you will hardly see Djokovic being flashy or loud. You can mostly find the man in eye-soothing colors, sporting a simple style. In fact, he keeps things as simple as possible. You will either spot him in suits or you can see him in tees and trousers.

2. Be positive and confident about your outfit. No matter what he is wearing, you can always see the Serbian player smiling. Showing any signs of nervousness is surely not an option for him. So, the point to learn here is, not doubting yourself will help you stay sophisticated and motivated.
